About
Cricoteka – the Centre for the Documentation of the Art of Tadeusz Kantor – is a municipal arts institution dedicated to exploring and presenting the work of internationally renowned artist and theatre director Tadeusz Kantor (1915-1990). The Centre was founded in 1980 and opened its new home on the river Vistula in 2014.
Cricoteka’s programme is inspired by the full range and diversity of Kantor’s work, as well as by the Centre’s own unique collection of archival materials and theatrical objects, viewed from the perspective of contemporary artistic and scholarly approaches.Professional activities
