About
Adela received her PhD in Theatre from the University of Wrocław, and professional diplomas in Translation (Kraków) and Cultural Management (Warsaw). She is a former Head Archivist and International Publishing Coordinator at the Grotowski Institute, where she co-founded the Icarus/Routledge book series, and is co-editor of Polish Theatre Perspectives (PTP), a peer-reviewed scholarly and artistic resource that investigates Polish theatre cultures – past and present – and brings them into dialogue with other world traditions of critical and creative practice. Since 2012, she has served as co-director of the nonprofit organization TAPAC (Theatre and Performance Across Cultures) and of Culture Hub, a new digital platform for multilingual exchange in the arts.
